L&R Moore Farms Inc.

L&R Moore Farms Inc. is a family owned and operated farming operation. The company is owned by Richard Moore and his son Landon Moore. Landon in the third generation of farmer in the Moore Family. The one full time employee of the farm is Randy who has been on the farm since 1978.

Mission Statement

To continue to grow our business by maintaining the relationships that were established by those who came before us and to create new ones. While doing this we will take pride in the fact that we did it honestly and with the best interest of all parties involved. 

Who We Are

Richard Moore has been farming since the 60's and in 2004 he made some changes in his operation to position himself for retirement. In the midst of these changes,  L&R Moore Farms Inc. was born. He also won county farmer of the year in the late 90's.

Landon Moore grew up on the farm and 1998 left home to attend college at NC STATE UNIVERSITY were he received four associate degrees in a variety of agriculture feilds.  These include: Agri-Buisiness Management, Field Crop Technology, General Agriculture and Agriculture Pest Control.  Upon graduation he returned home to the farm and partnered with his father in the operation. Since then they have started to incorporate different technologies into their operations.  In 2007,  Landon followed in his father's footsteps and won Robeson County Young Farmer of the Year.

Randy is the nephew of Richard and started working with him in the late 70's. He is the only full time employee at the present time. He has been a very valuable asset to them and to Richard before Landon was around.
